Our Story
Built by genealogists, for genealogists
CanopyLink was created in 2025 by Scott Foster, with guidance and oversight from investigative genetic genealogy experts Cairenn Binder and David Gurney.
Answering the call to create a secure web-based tree-building software purpose-built for investigative genetic genealogy teams, CanopyLink was born ready to assist genealogists with complicated family mysteries as well as law enforcement investigations.
